The founder of Mildenberger Motors, Harold Mildenberger has been doing business in the Bitterroot Valley for over 70 years. He started with Arrow Chevrolet in the early 1950s and has watched it grow ever since. Harold passed in the Summer of 2022, but his big smile and friendly personalized service lives on in our dealership staff. For over 40 years Brad Mildenberger has been an important part of his family's business and the Bitterroot community. As the Owner-Manager, Brad takes a great interest in every department, and every staff member, making sure you get the best service, and the best value, every time. He is a man dedicated to his family and the community he lives in. Whether it's the county fairgrounds, the schools or car & motorcycle clubs, Brad is a supporter! Martin Brockell is the new General Manager of Mildenberger Motors, as Brad takes on more family responsibilities. Martin was from Montana but spent the past few years running a dealership in Hawaii, but he's back home now where he truly loves to live. Martin is highly energetic and is involved in every aspect of this dealership. If you have a particular vehicle in mind, call him to see that we get one on the lot for you.

Karla Wallace has been the lead accountant for Mildenberger Motors since 2002. If you've purchased a vehicle, had your car serviced or bought a part, there is a good chance she has handled your money. Karla's husband & best friend for over 20 years, Doug, is a manager for Countrywide Periodicals. They have a son, Justin. Karla enjoys spending time with her family especially taking road trips. You could probably catch Karla cheering on her two favorite baseball teams, the Atlanta Braves and the Seattle Mariners. She definitely takes being a baseball fan to the next level. Carla Christofferson has been at Mildenberger Motors since 2006. A native Montanan, born and raised in Butte, she has also lived in Missoula, Kalispell and Spokane WA. Her husband, Bruce, is has a small engine repair & maintenance service company. Her son and daughter in law, Chris and Suzanne Albright live here with their three children Courtney, Ridge and Lainie. Carla also has a daughter and son in law, April and Pete Adams, who live in Belgrade. Carla loves to golf, snow ski and camp as well as hike with Bruce and their border collie Fluff. Warm summer days they may be seen cruising around in their 67 Chevelle. Carla is involved with Bitterroot Special Olympics as a member of the steering committee responsible for volunteers. She loves University of Montana football and goes to the Grizzly games every chance she gets. She is also a Gonzaga University basketball fan (go Zags) as well as a Mariners fan.

Debra Shippy was raised outside of Fort Carson, Colorado. She married her husband Kris and has 3 beautiful daughters who are the light of her life. She loves the mountains, snow, cooking and the S.F. 49ers. Ray Niesslein is the Internet Marketing Manager for Mildenberger Motors. He comes well qualified with years of experience in Information Technologies after retiring from his first business career. He moved to the Bitterroot after the 1994 Northridge earthquake in California and never looked back, except to visit the beach and friends. He loves to drive, examine, take pictures and write up every vehicle in the Mildenberger lot to post to our website, so YOU can enjoy an honest review at home before you come to buy. If you like what you see, share the cars with your friends and neighbors, and call him if you want a special picture taken.

Stan Gingerich has been in sales at Mildenberger Motors since 2005 and is considered our heavy duty truck expert. He is a graduate of Corvallis High School and attended the University of Montana. Stan and his wife Onita, who is a Corvallis Elementary teacher, are long time Bitterrooters. He has been involved with ranching here in the valley for over 20 years. Stan has a daughter, Olivia and a son Shea. When he is not at the dealership, Stan, who loves the outdoors, may be found four wheeling or hunting. You may even catch him playing a round of golf. If you want to know the latest results, standings or schedules on the NASCAR circuit, just come in and chat with Stan. He'll know. He's an avid fan.

Meet Mark Pent, a fellow Bitterrooter, Montana State University, Bozeman grad, and certified snowboard instructor at Lost Trail Powder Mountain in the winter months, who has joined Mildenberger Motors as a business development agent to help our dealership grow. He is married with twin boys born on Halloween so costume birthday parties are normal annual events. Whether you are changing from skiing to snowboarding, or an older vehicle to a newer one, or just going for a new look this Halloween, Mark is equipped to help make your changes great experiences. Mike Mertz came to the Bitterroot with his wife and 3 sons in the summer of 2015 after a variety of experiences, building a delivery service, working as an oilfield foreman, and car sales in Missoula. He grew up in Post Falls Idaho, loves sports, and is a big Tampa Bay Buccaneer fan. His dream is to play in the World Series of Poker one day so call him if you are short a player. He is an avid fisherman, hunter, and outdoors-man. He loves interacting with people and helping them get into the vehicle of their dreams. We are happy and fortunate to have Mike as our finance manager as we grow our dealership's business. Let him work for you, and you won't be disappointed.

When you drive into the service department at Mildenberger Motors whether it is to get your oil changed or because you are having a mechanical problem, chances are pretty good the helpful person greeting you is Dave Heckeroth. Dave has been in the automotive business for well over 15 years & a service writer for Mildenberger Motors since 2002. A Montana resident for over fifty years, Dave is a graduate of Sentinel High School. He and his wife Shawna, who is an addictions counselor, have lived in the Bitterroot for over twenty five years. They are members of Corvallis Community Church and have three children: Evanie, Brooke and Nathaniel. Dave's interests are varied. He likes to fish and restore old pick up trucks. He also enjoys researching railroad history. His father and grandfather both worked for the Milwaukee Railroad. When Dave is not here making you feel welcome as you drive in the door, he truly enjoys spending time with his family.

Travis is a talented service technician who now serves as a service writer, loves boating in summer & snowmobiling in the winter. He is a single dad co-raising his 11 year old daughter & 6 year old son. He is native to Hamilton where he attended H.S. & Boseman for college. Your vehicles will receive tender loving care from him, and we are happy to have Travis in the Mildenberger Motors Family.

DAVE DOLL
Service Technician

If you have had work done on your vehicle at Mildenberger Motors anytime since 1989, chances are Dave Doll has been your technician. With thirty five years automotive experience he can diagnose the problem and have that engine purring like new in no time at all. He has his General Motors and ASE certifications and certainly knows his way around an engine. Dave has been a Bitterroot resident over 25 years, originally from Billings. His wife Rae Ann is a dental assistant for Dr. Greg Seltzer. He has a son Michael who shares a lot of the same pastimes as his dad. Dave likes riding motorcycles, both dirt bikes and road bikes. On a snowy afternoon you may just catch him riding his snowmobile, but once in a while he may need to be reminded which end of the machine should be sitting down on the snow!

He's been a Bitterrooter since 1973, has run a body shop and garage, and knows his parts. When you drove away in your new or used car, there was a good chance it was prepared for delivery by Debbie Young. Debbie is crew manager in our detailing and reconditioning department. She has many years experience in the automotive field and we are glad she has been here at Mildenberger Motors since 2006. Debbie & her husband Wes organize Car Shows to help support Charities here in the Bitterroot like Emma's House & Therapeutic Riding. Originally from Eugene Oregon, they have lived in the Bitterroot for over 20 years. Debbie spent many years riding and showing horses, but these days she prefers her horses under the hood. She soon plans on adding another muscle car to the family. When she isn't turning the used cars at Mildenberger Motors into perfection, she and Wes might be seen cruising the valley in their 1969 GTO.
